If you are interested in playing around with this broken mess, all my supporters on Patreon will have early access to mod releases. Still, even at this stage, I've already found myself getting distracted by the game and just playing through while testing. It's very easy for it to break completely, and a lot of interactions aren't yet possible using just the VR controllers. TwoForksVR is still in early stages of development, so only basic interaction is implemented. Firewatch is also less complicated on a technical level, which should allow for deeper modifications (climbing mechanics using VR gestures, more comfort options, etc). I plan to go further than NomaiVR in regards to the level of motion control interaction. Now, I'm working on TwoForksVR, a VR mod for Firewatch. It got some coverage, and people seem to have enjoyed the experience. Built in Source by Jane Ng of Campo Santo, the developer of Firewatch.

Based on official National Forest Service blueprints, the tower from the game is a faithful representation of those used by actual forest lookouts today. It allows you to play Outer Wilds from start to finish with full VR motion controls. Explore Henrys lookout tower from the video game Firewatch. An especially hot, dry summer has everyone on edge. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. You are a man named Henry who has retreated from your messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. A while ago, I created NomaiVR, a VR mod for Outer Wilds. Firewatch is a single-player first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness.
